Daisy Suite

Daisy Suite

from $30.00

A cheerful daisy-inspired suite with hand-dipped chocolate covered Oreo cookies along with a coordinating bouquet or arrangement. A preserved pink rose, pink setaria, wheat, oats, ricegrass, pink and white bunny tails, broom bloom, and daisy-like ammobium are tucked into a small mercury glass cup or wrapped in pink daisy-motif paper.

The chocolate dipped O’Shea’s Oreos are bedecked with a little sugared daisy. O’Shea’s Candies was started in 1934 by Thomas and Helen O’Shea and is now a fourth-generation chocolate company based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The family continues to use the same recipes, marble slabs, steel tables, and copper kettles to finely craft exquisite sweets using old-fashioned techniques. They expertly cook and beat creams, roast nuts, extrude peanut butter, soak cherries, hand-dip chocolates, and make homemade caramel — all delectable testaments to a bygone era. By preserving and honoring the passion of a small-town couple who dreamt of selling chocolates from their kitchen during the Great Depression, O’Shea’s is a legacy to be celebrated and enjoyed!

Each cookie is 2”L x 2”W x .5”H and come in a set of three. They’ve been made with equipment that also processes peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, egg, and milk products.

The bouquet measures 4”L x 4”W x 10-12”H, the arrangement 4”L x 4”W x 5”H; both are handcrafted with natural materials, so variations are to be expected. Read about the care of dried and preserved flowers in the blogpost Dried Flowers 101.
